Authentic Mexican Embroidered Throw Pillow Covers 19.5” Square

BRAND NEW, never used! Mexican Embroidered Throw Pillow Covers/ Shams Set of 2 Size is 19.5” x 19.5” (I think they would take 18”x18” pillow inserts; they do not come with the inserts)  The pillow covers are made from a thick, soft black cotton woven material with a slight texture (great structure and very durable!). The colors are absolutely gorgeous and super vibrant - rich purple, deep pink, shining gold, red, coral, bits of white highlights and of course the green leaves.  They zip in the back w/ a hidden zipper to keep the insert locked in place. The artist explained that he all of the embroidery work is guided by hand. You can still see bits of the Mexican newspaper he used as stabilizer for the embroidery!  Purchased in Loreto, BCS, México while traveling down the Baja Peninsula last winter. I really wanted white ones but they didn’t have a matching set, so I got black… but they don’t match my decor so I’m letting these one-of-a-kind pieces go.
