Vintage Angel Needlepoint Petit Point Pillow Green Red Gold Rope Trim Velvet 12"

Description  Vintage needlepoint pillow featuring a traditional angel motif worked in a combination of needlepoint and petit point, giving the design finer detail and variation in texture. The front is stitched in rich green, red, and gold tones and finished with gold rope trim around the edge. The back is green velvet, which adds weight and a more finished feel. The original tag was cut off at some point, so the maker and exact fiber content are unknown, though the stitched surface feels like wool. This is a well-made piece that works comfortably in traditional interiors and also fits naturally into Christmas or holiday décor without feeling overly seasonal.  Size  Approximately 12 inches square.  Condition  Good vintage condition showing light wear consistent with age. The tag has been removed.
