Vintage Mid-Century Sharpening Steel – F. Dick (Germany) & Ontario Knife Co. Slicer knife (USA) w/ green vinyl blade guard for the slicer.  Included in Set: Vintage F. Dick Sharpening Steel (Made in Germany) Clearly stamped F. DICK alongside an arrow logo & MADE IN GERMANY on the steel rod. Classic vintage turned wood handle w/ a glossy finish, a traditional metal finger guard & an integrated hanging ring.  Measures approximately 17.5” in total length, w/ the sharpening steel being 12”.  Vintage Ontario Knife Company Slicing/Carving Knife (Made in USA)  Markings: Crossed swords logo stamped with ILLINOIS and ...WKS (Ontario Knife Works / Tru-Edge heritage lines.  Measures approximately 15.5” in total length  Condition: Both items are in good vintage, pre-owned condition  The sharpening steel has light surface wear & minor oxidation spots consistent w/ age but remains completely functional with excellent ridging. The handle is secure w/ no major cracks, minor wear/scuffs from normal use.  The slicing knife has light surface scratches & standard patina on the blade. The wooden handle is tight to the tang and minor age wear around the rivets.
