Description
This is a usuba (thin-bladed knife) from Tetsu Tsuru Yoshimasa (鉄剣良政).
Although it measures 21cm by standard measurement due to the absence of a machi (heel bolster), it is clearly larger than the Masamoto usuba knife also listed concurrently, giving it a size comparable to a 22.5cm Masamoto knife.
The blade shows minimal wear and is in clean condition overall.
The handle is a sturdy, genuine water buffalo horn octagonal handle,
and it comes with a high-quality saya (sheath).
It has been lightly sharpened, so it should be usable to some extent as is.
There are rust marks, polishing scratches, sharpening scratches, and minor nicks on the blade, so please only purchase if you understand that this is a used item.
