Antique Barrow & Co Ironstone Plate Fruit Garden White Embossed 1850s Rare

An exceptional and highly collectible piece of genuine mid-Victorian English ironstone. This plate features the beautiful, heavily embossed Fruit Garden pattern, showcase a large central grape leaf surrounded by clusters of grapes, strawberries, and vines. The reverse features the scarce impressed backstamp for Barrow & Co. along with Ironstone China. Because Barrow & Co. (operating out of Longton, Staffordshire) was only in business for a short three-year window from 1853 to 1856, pieces with this stamp are incredibly hard for collectors to find. Dimensions: Diameter: 9-inch dinner plate Condition: Excellent antique condition with absolutely NO chips, cracks, flea bites, or structural damage. Notable production-related glaze/kiln staining is present on the piece (all pictured), which is standard and highly typical for earthenware manufactured during this era. This is an authentic manufacturing characteristic, not post-production damage, and adds wonderful historical character. Perfect for a white ironstone collector, farmhouse decor, or a historical display piece. Will be packed with utmost care for secure transit.
