Vintage Snug Harbor Artisans Handmade Christmas Basket | Painted Holly Berry

Charming vintage handmade basket by Snug Harbor Artisans, complete with its original maker's hang tag. This long, shallow woven basket features a natural finish accented with muted gray weaving and a wonderful brick-red band decorated with tiny hand-painted green leaves and white berries. A tall wooden swing handle gives it the look of a traditional gathering or market basket. The understated red, green and natural palette makes this especially lovely for Christmas and winter decorating without feeling overly Christmas-y. It would be beautiful filled with greenery, pinecones, ornaments, holiday cards or small wrapped gifts—or simply displayed on a shelf, mantel or farmhouse table.
