Rare 1/1 Original 1917 Scottish Rite Masonic Council Document – Latin Text –

Original 1917 Scottish Rite Masonic council document, not a membership certificate and not an English-language routine issue. This is a formal, ceremonial document written primarily in Latin, issued by a Scottish Rite governing body and bearing original seals and period signatures. The Latin language, structure, and titles reflect a higher-level council decree, intended for official record and display rather than mass issuance. These Latin council documents were produced in far smaller numbers than standard English member certificates and represent a more ceremonial class of Masonic paperwork. * Date: 1917 * Organization: Scottish Rite * Language: Latin (with formal Masonic titles and structure) * Format: Large, display-size document * Features: Original seals, period ink, original signatures * Authenticity: Original early 20th-century document, not a reproduction CONDITION Antique condition consistent with age (100+ years). Light age toning/foxing present. No modern repairs. Ink, seals, and text remain clearly legible. Please review photos carefully, as they are part of the description. IMPORTANT CONTEXT This document should not be compared to common English-language Masonic membership certificates frequently seen from the same era. English certificates were produced in higher volume and represent a different class of material. Latin Scottish Rite council documents like this were ceremonial and administrative in nature, issued at a higher organizational level.
