VTG‎ Oscar de la Renta Red Wool Cashmere Coat Size 14 Belted Collar Detail

For sale: a beautiful women’s coat by Oscar de la Renta, size 14 (US). The shell is made of 70% wool / 20% nylon / 10% cashmere, with a lined interior. The style features a stand collar with buckle detail, a belted back waist‐tab, and snap/button flap pockets. The colour is a vibrant rich red. This piece is in very good vintage condition — well preserved, no obvious major damage, ready to wear.  Fit & sizing: Although marked size 14, the fit runs closer to a Medium woman’s size (≈ US 8-10) due to tailored shaping and narrower arm width. I am a size 10 and the coat fits me, but it is a little snug in the arms/shoulders for my comfort. So please keep that in mind when sizing.  Era/Production years: While the exact production year is not listed, the label reads “OSCAR – an Oscar de la Renta Company,” which suggests it may date from the period when the brand had diffusion lines or company naming typical of the late 1990s to early 2000s. (Designer runway coats of Oscar de la Renta in recent years retail in the multi-thousand dollar range, which supports the idea that this is a somewhat earlier production.)
