Vintage 1950s Androck No 49 Nut Choppers Federal Glass Atomic Starburst MCM Set

Vintage 1950s Androck No. 49 hand-crank nut chopper set featuring classic atomic-era starburst graphics and clear Federal Glass jars.  This set includes two different-sized nut choppers, each with its original-style metal chopping mechanism, black lid, and side hand crank. The paper-covered upper sections feature fantastic Mid-Century Modern patterns with black diamond accents and atomic starbursts—one in red and the other in blue.  The clear glass containers are made by Federal Glass, with the Federal name and shield logo embossed into the glass. These have a wonderful authentic 1950s kitchen look and are especially appealing for collectors of atomic kitchenware, vintage kitchen gadgets, Federal Glass, and Mid-Century Modern décor.  Both pieces are in vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear consistent with their age and previous use.
