Vintage Aqua Enamel Asian Oriental Motif Jewelry Set Brooch Earrings

Vintage coordinating brooch and screw-back earring set decorated in a striking aqua blue-green and gold enamel.  The rectangular brooch has a softly scalloped aqua border accented at regular intervals with gold enamel. The aqua field has a finely mottled, almost crystalline-looking texture beneath the glossy surface, giving the color considerable depth. Fine gold enamel linework forms an Asian-inspired scene with stylized branches, foliage and abstract symbols. The decoration has a delicate, somewhat freehand quality rather than the precision of a transfer-applied design.
