Blenko 3732 Chartreuse Pillow Vase Pre-Designer Art Glass MCM

Vintage Blenko No. 3732 pillow vase in vibrant chartreuse hand-blown art glass. Produced during Blenko's pre-designer period, this classic pillow form features softly curved sides, a polished rim, and the abundant seed bubbles that are characteristic of early Blenko glass. Chartreuse was produced for a relatively short period (1949–1955), making it one of the more desirable early Blenko colors for collectors.  Measurements: • Height: 8 • Width: 5.5 • Depth: 3.25  Very good vintage condition. As with many early Blenko pieces, the rim was hand ground and polished after blowing. Minor roughness and tiny flea bites along the polished edge are common from the finishing process. In addition, this vase has one small flea bite on the rim, shown in the photographs. No cracks or repairs. The glass contains numerous seed bubbles consistent with its handmade production and age.  We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves.
